Blackjack Dash 2026 – The Magnificent Seven
The Blackjack Dash Fun Run took to the water on Saturday 15th August, and while the original fleet became a little smaller than planned, the weather gods were smiling and those who made it enjoyed a cracking day out on the water.
The expected ten participants became the Magnificent Seven, following a few last-minute withdrawals. Andy was beaten by preparation problems, Shaun — despite having chosen the date himself! — found himself otherwise engaged, while Hans and the team at Cholamark Boats were busy preparing a RIB for another film shoot.
Those who remained were rewarded with excellent conditions for the day.
The fleet headed through the Koh Siray Klong, stopping at the floating restaurants before continuing on to the bay at Koh Lon for some time on the water and a chance to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

There could only be one winner, and this year's Blackjack honours went to “Lucky” Simon.
Fresh from his recent success in the Cholamark/Highfield dinghy raffle, Simon apparently hadn't exhausted his supply of good fortune. His Blackjack hand of 21 proved unbeatable and was enough to secure the trophy.
Perhaps we'll all be buying our raffle tickets wherever Simon does from now on...
