PYC Annual General Meeting – 2025

Dear Members
The 2025 AGM is scheduled to start from 18.30 on Friday 6th June 2025 and will be held at the club premises at 52/25 Moo 9 Soi Pornchalong, Chaofa Road Tambon Chalong.
A Thai buffet starting after the AGM will be available for members in attendance.
We would like to see as many Members attend as possible but if you cannot attend, please take the time to submit your Proxy or Absentee vote. Absentee and proxy votes must be notified to the Club Secretary by email at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the AGM.
The agenda will be as follows:
· Commodore’s Report
· Treasurer’s Report
· Sailing report
· Additional items (if any)
· Resignation of current committee
· Election of new committee and commodore
Only fully paid-up eligible members can vote, so please make sure your membership fees (due 1st April 2025) are paid in advance of the AGM. In this respect registration of Members eligible to vote will close at 18:00 on Friday 6th June 2025.
Any Member wishing to add an agenda item must notify the Club Secretary within ten (10) days of this AGM notice. The Club Secretary will publish the final agenda at least seven (7) days before the AGM. Items not on the final agenda may not be raised at the AGM.

A Proxy Vote is one where a Member, unable to attend the meeting, nominates another Member to vote on his/her behalf. The Member must notify the Club Secretary at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the AGM of the name of his Proxy Voter. No individual Member may hold more than five (5) Votes, (their own and a maximum of four (4) proxy votes).
An Absentee Vote is where a Member, who is unable to attend the meeting, notifies the Club Secretary by email not later than twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting how he / she wishes to vote on any agenda item. An absentee voter will be deemed to have abstained from any vote where the motion voted on as an absentee vote is not self-explanatory and or clear which agenda item is being voted on.
