\nThe 2025 AGM is scheduled to start from 18.30 on Friday 6th June 2025 and will be held at the club premises at 52/25 Moo 9 Soi Pornchalong\, Chaofa Road Tambon Chalong.

\nA Thai buffet starting after the AGM will be available for members in attendance.

\nWe would like to see as many Members attend as possible but if you cannot attend\, please take the time to submit your Proxy or Absentee vote. Absentee and proxy votes must be notified to the Club Secretary by email at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the AGM.

\n\nThe agenda will be as follows:

\n· Treasurer’s Report
\n· Sailing report
\n· Additional items (if any)
\n· Resignation of current committee
\n· Election of new committee and commodore

\nOnly fully paid-up eligible members can vote\, so please make sure your membership fees (due 1st April 2025) are paid in advance of the AGM. In this respect registration of Members eligible to vote will close at 18:00 on Friday 6th June 2025.

\nAny Member wishing to add an agenda item must notify the Club Secretary within ten (10) days of this AGM notice. The Club Secretary will publish the final agenda at least seven (7) days before the AGM. Items not on the final agenda may not be raised at the AGM.

Proxy Votes

\nA Proxy Vote is one where a Member\, unable to attend the meeting\, nominates another Member to vote on his/her behalf. The Member must notify the Club Secretary at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the AGM of the name of his Proxy Voter. No individual Member may hold more than five (5) Votes\, (their own and a maximum of four (4) proxy votes).

Absentee Votes

\nAn Absentee Vote is where a Member\, who is unable to attend the meeting\, notifies the Club Secretary by email not later than twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting how he / she wishes to vote on any agenda item. An absentee voter will be deemed to have abstained from any vote where the motion voted on as an absentee vote is not self-explanatory and or clear which agenda item is being voted on.

\nThe 2024 Annual General Meeting is scheduled to start from 18.00 on Friday 31st May 2024 and will be held at the club premises.

\nA thai buffet starting after the AGM will be put on for members in attendance.

\nWe would like to see as many members attend as possible however if you cannot make it please take the time to submit your Proxy or Absentee vote\, full details below.\nPlease Note: Items not on the final agenda may not be raised at the AGM.

\n· Resignation of current committee
\n· Election of new committee and commodore

\nPlease note that only fully paid up members are eligible to vote so please make sure your membership fees are paid in advance of the AGM.

Proxy Votes

\nA Proxy Vote is where a Member\, who is unable to attend the meeting\, nominates another Member to vote on his behalf.

\nFor a proxy to be effective\, the Member must notify the Club Secretary at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting of the name of his Proxy Voter. Proxy Votes count towards a quorum on all issues. A Proxy Vote must be notified to the Club Secretary by email or by written notification delivered to the Club Secretary.

\n

Absentee Votes

\nAn Absentee Vote is where a Member\, who is unable to attend the meeting\, notifies the Club Secretary by email or in writing how he wishes to vote on any agenda item.\nIt is the club secretary’s responsibility to ensure that such votes are recorded properly.

\nAbsentee voters\, although counting towards a quorum\, will be deemed to have abstained from any votes where the motion voted on is not self-explanatory. \nThank you and we look forward to seeing you on the 31st May.
