DESCRIPTION:AGM at Phuket Yacht Club\nFriday 31st May 2024 - 6pm onward\n\nDear Members\nThe 2024 Annual General Meeting is scheduled to start from 18.00 on Friday 31st May 2024 and will be held at the club premises.\nA thai buffet starting after the AGM will be put on for members in attendance.\nWe would like to see as many members attend as possible however if you cannot make it please take the time to submit your Proxy or Absentee vote\, full details below.\nPlease Note:  Items not on the final agenda may not be raised at the AGM.\nThe agenda will be as follows:\n· Commodore’s Report\n· Treasurer’s Report\n· Sailing report\n· Other business\n· Resignation of current committee\n· Election of new committee and commodore\nPlease note that only fully paid up members are eligible to vote so please make sure your membership fees are paid in advance of the AGM.\nProxy Votes\nA Proxy Vote is where a Member\, who is unable to attend the meeting\, nominates another Member to vote on his behalf.\nFor a proxy to be effective\, the Member must notify the Club Secretary at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting of the name of his Proxy Voter. Proxy Votes count towards a quorum on all issues.
