Race Cancelation Notice  Sunday October 23rd October 2016
Dear Members,
Last Thursday Thailand’s leading light, His Majesty, King Bhumibol Adulyadej passed away peacefully in Bangkok.
He was greatly respected in Thailand and around the globe for his wisdom, compassion and dedication to improving the everyday lives of the Thai people. His Majesty was also a very talented sailor and much has been written this past week detailing his legendary boat-building and yacht racing skills.
The Phuket Yacht Club committee and members convey our sincerest condolences and sympathy to the Royal Family and the people of Thailand at this very sad time.
In respect of this national loss we would like to announce the cancellation of race number five scheduled for Sunday the 23rd of October and will join the nation in mourning for Thailand’s Father, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej

Sincerely,

PYC Committee.
